Gloop

We love making gloop, we’ve made it a few times now. It’s so simple yet so much fun!

The mixture is roughly two parts cornflour to one part water, but you can adjust this to get your desired consistency. Gloop is generally firm to touch, but when you scoop it up it turns to liquid. This time we added more water to make it runnier to begin with, and we really did like the way it dripped.

We added sprinkles and edible glitter to make it more interesting, you can also add food colouring. One of the things I love most about gloop is it’s all perfectly safe to be ingested. Tommy is still in the stage where he likes to taste test things he plays with!

Our farm animals joined in (as always) and we watched how they sunk in the mixture, and how the gloop dripped off them when we saved them.

Why don’t you try it yourself!
