Cloud dough

What you’ll need:

  • Flour
  • Oil (we used olive oil but you can use baby oil)
  • Food colouring (optional – not recommended for white/very light carpets! haha)

We mixed roughly 1 part oil to 8 parts flour, just mix until you get the right consistency. It’s just like sand, but soft and fluffy. You can shape it, dig in it, bury in it, and build with it!

The boys had hours of fun with this (weeks in fact as you can store it and it keeps well). They enjoyed digging, making miniature sand castles, burying their bugs and making animal shapes in it.

Who needs the beach or good weather, when you can play with this at home in the warm. Perfect all year round activity!

Go on give it a go!
